Prepare artwork with fewer surprises

Bleed, trim, safe area, colour handling and accepted file types can vary by product. Use the requirements shown on the product you are ordering. If a requirement is not shown, do not assume that a generic template applies.

Review names, phone numbers, dates, prices and QR codes at the final size. Keep important text away from trim edges, and make sure linked or placed images are available at a resolution suitable for the chosen print size.

• Use the final page size and orientation.
• Include bleed only when the product instructions request it.
• Keep an editable source file as well as the exported print file.
• Open the exported file once more before submitting it.
